Students qualify for places at the International School Twente if they are:
· children of foreign parents who only temporarily live or work in The Netherlands
· children of Dutch parents, as long as they have lived and attended school abroad
· children of Dutch parents, temporarily living in The Netherlands with the prospect of being posted abroad (conditions according to Dutch legislation)
Admission to the International School Twente is contingent upon the school program being suitable to meet the applicant's needs. Knowledge of English as an academic language is not a requirement for admission. Children entering the school must have reached their fourth (4th) birthday. Class level assignment will be determined through past school records and personal interviews. Some programs are available for children with learning disabilities.
The annual school fee per student per year is 2,500 Euros.The school fee covers all educational costs. For field trips and outdoor activities, as well as for PTA-activities, an additional contribution of 25 Euros per year may be charged.If other non-compulsory trips are being arranged during the year, parents will be notified separately.
To apply for a place, an Application Form must be completed. One form needs to be completed for each child. Application for enrolment in the IST includes:
